What Are Core Supports?

Core Supports are services funded by the NDIS to help people with disabilities manage daily life and be more independent. At Silverlining Care Group, we provide Core Supports to make everyday tasks easier and help participants stay connected with their community.

Assistance with Daily Life

This includes help with personal care like showering, dressing, cooking, cleaning, and getting around. Our team supports each person

Community Participation

We also support people in joining social activities, going to events, making new friends, or joining programs in the community.

Assist-Travel/Transport

Silverlining Care Group can assist with transport, helping participants travel to places like school, work, appointments

Home and Living Supports with Silverlining Care Group

The NDIS provides different types of home and living supports to help people with disabilities live more comfortably, safely, and independently. At Silverlining Care Group, we offer:

Short Term Accommodation (STA) / Respite

This is a short stay away from home. It gives carers a break and gives participants the chance to try new things

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

SIL is for people who live in a shared home and need help every day. This support can include help with things like showering

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

SDA is for people with very high support needs. These are specially designed homes that make it easier to move around and live safely.
